We are not a a national company that only has it profits to think of with, poor customer service after signing the deposit, we pride ourselves on giving the right information, advise, with a quotation at a sensible price that will give you a top quality finish. From the start we listen to what your requirements are, then we try to build them into the conversion and with in the scope of building regulations.
A few things to bear in mind is that you will need building regulations to cover the garage conversion, these will cover things like the right amount of insulation to your floor, the floor, walls and ceilings, dig out and the correct foundations put in to take the new brick work and window, energy rated windows and doors, ventilation, heating, plumbing alterations, part P compliant electrical works and fire escapes. We are not a company that under quotes and then carries out the work to a sub standard state and not within building regulations. Remember you will need the building regulations should you sell your property in the future.
A garage conversion could give you that extra living room, office, gym, utility room, bedroom or even your childrens playroom. We can carry out the full conversion right up to and including the painting, decoration and floor finishes.
Adding an extra room to your home often increases the value more than having an existing garage. So if you want to sell your home in the future, a garage conversion could boost your properties value. It’s worth checking with your local estate agent to make sure that it is financially worth converting your garage though. Properties have a ceiling value set by the most expensive houses in that area, exceed that and you probably won’t get your money back.
A garage conversion can be far less hassle than building a new extension and you may not even need to get planning permission, garage conversions are classed as permitted developments (with a few exceptions) so carrying out the project is much quicker and easier than extending.
